PURCHASING A MANUFACTURED HOME ON LEASED LAND AT WHISPERING PALMS
What Is a Manufactured Home?
A manufactured home is a prefabricated house built in a factory and delivered to its final location. Once installed, it’s typically placed on a permanent foundation and can be bought and sold like a traditional home.
Note: The term ‘mobile home’ is only appropriate if the structure was built before July 15, 1976. If the home was built after July 15, 1976, the correct term should be ‘manufactured home’.
At Whispering Palms Resort in Indian River County, Florida, all homes are located on leased land, offering an affordable and low-maintenance lifestyle in a welcoming 55+ community.
There are four types of homes we offer:
- Double Wide
- Single Wide
- Travel Trailer with addition
- Park Models (a small, factory-built home designed for long-term or seasonal living, typically in RV parks or resort communities.)
Buying a Manufactured Home on Leased Land
